Introducing The Dayton’s Project
In the heart of Minneapolis, the landmark Dayton’s property was being redeveloped. During construction, the decision was made to fill over 200 linear feet of its well-traveled 2nd-floor Skyway with graphic panels featuring mock window displays and quotes from luminary Minneapolitans. Inspired by George Dayton’s original window displays, trompe l’oeil scenes were created to feature the coming amenities, generate excitement, and renew a sense of civic pride in the building.
